I have 4' Land Pride rotary mower and a 5' Land Pride finish mower I pull with our B2920. Can someone point me to a video or thread that shows me how to grease to pto shaft and u-joints.

I have googled all around, but have not found anything that shows me how to remove the Italian made PTO cover. I assume I need to remove it to grease everything; maybe I don't.

Moderator - If I have posted this in the wrong forum, feel free to move it to the correct location. Thanks.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Union ts should have a grease fitting. I always pull the pto shaft to maximum length, usually comes apart. Grease and push back together

I don't like to mix WD40 and grease. The WD40 breaks down grease. Here is another way to remove the plastic shield to get to stuff. Also on the plastic shield at the collars there are grease nipple points that you can use to pump grease in under the shield do that the shaft can spin freely inside the shield without tearing it up.
I always grease the spline where it slides onto the tractor, both U Joints, and both collars. Pulling the PTO shaft apart every so often and greasing the shaft ends where they slide into each other is a good idea. (watch a video on shortening up a PTO shaft) to see what I mean.
