Oil & Fuel B2920 front axle dipstick stuck?

Same issue here!
I've been using 2 of those pocket flat-bladed mechanic's screwdrivers-you know the type your local tech has in his pocket,the free ones.
They sre thin enough to go between the dipstick and the axle housing.
One on each side of the dipstick and it wiggles right out.
I also lube the o-ring.
They are a tight fit-I normally thunk it with a plastic hammer to reseat.

I also throw some Vaseline on the o-ring too!:thumbsup:

I use silicone grease on mine and it seems to help. They ARE tight! Pull straight up! Twisting is pointless unless it make you feel good since the O- ring will not likely spin with the stck.
Wobble while you pull.

Success! I wiggled it out using a wood chisel. The channel locks and block of wood would have probably worked well too but I couldn't find a block the right size at that moment.

It was more of a pain to get back in. I lubed it up with some of the trans-axle fluid but it was still difficult. Hammered it back in using two hammers with the rubber handled end of one on the dipstick. I hope Kubota has come up with a different plan for the dipsticks on the new B's. A screw in with shoulder and the o-ring/gasket on top would be a big improvement I believe.

In all fairness it is likely mine had not been out since it came from the dealership in 2008. I bought it 4 months ago with only 112 hrs. so it had probably not been out in a while.
