Just acquired a B2781A blower and while going over the manual I note that the chain should be lubed every 4 hours or after every use. No big deal as I am used to doing that with my 2750 and have a bunch of saw chain oil. However.......the chain guard was designed by someone who proably never will have to remove it to lube the chain. There are two bolts holding the guard, one is on top and readily accessible, the other is on the bottom of the female hitch. NOT USER FRIENDLY! I am tempted to run the guard with but one bolt as that should hold it in place yet make access to the chain user friendly. Might rattle a bit but whats a bit more noise?

Anyone run into this ? Comments?

I bought a can of motorcycle chain lube....... it comes with the straw-like thing similar to WD40. Ne need to remove the cover. Lubing every 4 hours is not realistic, but do keep it lubed. My B2782 has been running flawlessly for 5 New England winters now.
