B2710 not shifting into high gear.

Borrowed my friends B2710 and it's not shifting/engaging into high range. Low works... The lever moves... All the cable linkage looks intact. All other systems are a go.

This is why I Love and Hate to borrow equipment.

Should have 3 ranges, low, medium and high. You only mention high and low. Are you sure you're not ending up in the spot between two ranges, that will result in no movement.
