I have the same limited range with my B2400 and RB60. These blades (RB60-RB84) seem to use the same frame for all blade lengths. So they are sized to allow for 360 degree rotation of a 84 inch blade, which makes the frame much longer than necessary for our blades. If the frame were shorter, the hitch arms would be less horizontal when the blade hit the ground, using more of their range. This might let you get a slightly sharper cutting angle on the blade, but probably not enough to make a difference. But at least you know the frame is plenty strong!
