B2650 oil change question?

Need to do an oil change on my B2650. There are 2 threaded caps on the top of the engine that have "oil" embossed on them.

Are they both used for refilling the engine oil? Any advantage to using one or the other?

I use the one on the right side. Easier to get to.

I don’t think I have ever used the one on the valve cover.

Either one will work and there is no difference. Kubota does this because most of their engines are used in other aplications where one oil fill may be completly blocked. I am pretty shure I used the valve cover hole to fill my b2650.

Either oil filler can be used. This same diesel engine is also used extensively in the asian market for Diesel Gensets.

Same for JD and Isuzu. One on top will take higher flow without backing out because it's straight in and not at a slant. Just stick a funnel in it and pour. Cannot do this with the side one.
