Buying Advice B2601 or B2650...help me decide

Presumably heights are given with R1/ag tires.

I wonder if B2650 at 88.4" with R1/ag tires, would fit under an 84" garage door header when equipped with R4/industrial tires?
I can measure when I get home, but recall that I have the 40" tires instead of the standard 37" tires. So I'll be an inch and a half higher.

That comment made me realize who you are. I've watched some of your YouTube videos.

Coincidentally, I'd probably be buying from the same dealer.

Make sure that you talk to Sean Huegel and tell him you know me. He gets a kick out of how every customer has seen my videos and many have talked to me.

An offer for you... Come over and play on mine. I live in Economy Boro, just behind Cranberry Twp. You can actually play with it and not just drive around a parking lot!

PM me if you want an address.

I've been dealing with Nick. Bought a couple chainsaws through him before. But if I meet Sean I'll definitely mention it.

That's a great offer, and I'll happily accept! I'll shoot you a PM shortly. Thanks!

My B2601 seems to have most of the premium stuff the B2650 has. The main reason I got the B2601 is because it sits a little lower to the ground with R4 tires, most of the property I work on is on the side of a hill and on uneven ground and was worried about laying it over. Although I have learned a lot since I bought it and probably could have got by with the B2650, at least with rear wheel spacers. I also went with wheel spacers on the B2601. I use it to grapple logs, mow ditches and load pallets etc. so I still get good use of it.

The B2650 is 3.5" wider as well as 4.7" taller.... Negating your argument for lower. The width grows more than the height. As spacers and that width to height ratio moves even further in the favor of the B2650. It's simple math.

Hmm. If it got 3.5" wider and 4.7" taller, then I'm not sure I'd say the width grew more than the height. :)

But I presume it's the centre of gravity that matters, so probably the clearance that matters more than the ROPs height. The B01 is 325mm clearance, the B50 is 370mm clearance, for an increase of 14%. The B01 is 1245 wide, the B50 is 1365 wide, for an increase of 10%. Unless the engine is mounted a lot higher in the B50 than the B01, I'd say the centre of gravity is probably also ~10-15% higher, I'd call that basically the same stability, and as you say spacers would make a bigger difference than these measures would.

Sorry....
B2650 is 4.7" wider... and that is (53.7" / 49" = 1.0959) 9.6% wider than the B2601. (49" X 1.095)
B2650 is 3.4" taller.... and that is (88.4 / 85 = 1.04) 4% taller than the B2601. (85" X 1.039)

So doing some math, you see that the B2650 grows wider by over twice the ratio of height gain.
