I finally convinced my better half that I absolutely had to have a tractor:p. Last week I put a deposit on a used B26 with a tad less than 300 hours. I know it's kind of the wrong time of the year to worry about snow blowers but up here in Canada we have eleven months of winter and a one month of bad sking ;-)

Anyway, I'm looking at blowers and I've been told I can't attach a front blower to my B26 because there's no front PTO. Are there blowers that run hydraulically and if so what type of fittings do I need?

I've looked at rear mounted units by Pronovost, any suggestions or complaints about Pronovost blowers?

I don't believe your tractor flows enough hydraulic oil for a skidsteer blower. I'd say your options consist of a front mounted Erskine blower that runs off the rear PTO, or a front or rear facing rear mounted blower. The rear facing rear mounted blower will be the most affordable by far.

Congrats on your new tractor ! :)

lakeside,
that is correct, no front pto , no front mounted blower. Not to worry as there's plenty of good rear mounter snow blowers out there, new and used. I have used both, and I will say the the front is the best for long time use, more then one hour of blowing. The rear lets you keep your FEL on, and that's a plus.
