Sounds like the loader valve is not holding in the float detent. Attached is a schematic for the L39 in the float position. I do not know if the B26 is the same. The L39 has hydraulic bucket leveling that can be turned on/off with a lever on the loader control. In the float position the boom cylinder ports are both routed to tank so there should be no hydraulic pressure. I have trouble with mine staying in the float detent. I have taken the detent apart and cleaned it, but it still tends to pop out after a while so whenever I use the float, I hold the lever down to make sure it stays there.
