everyone knows there is no real productive work coming out of there

Well you have to wonder how any work could get done with all that hot air... /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

GlueGuy... Maybe if I captured the hot air, used it turn some turbines connected to generators, and send the electricity over to you Californians, then DC would actually export something productive for a change /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif.

GlueGuy... Looks like you found out our secret motto: 'Tis far better to take then to give'. Talking about us taking, paid those Federal Taxes yet? If you don't, we all might have to go out and find real jobs! Please don't make us suffer like that.

[If we can't poke fun at ourselves, then we can't, in good conscious, laugh at others].

THOMAS:

Maryland's sales tax is 5%; however, tax was waived on my purchase, since the tractor is used for a horse farm operation. All I had to do was fill out an agriculture tax exemption form supplied by the dealer (just gotta make sure you're a legitimate farm operation, though). I've had my rig for two weeks now and got to give it a good workout last weekend moving my manure pit around, relocating some rock piles, dragging the riding ring, and pulling multi-flora roses out of my fenceline. I also bought a grader box at auction last weekend and will pick-up a new rear mount fertilizer spinner spreader this weekend. Will get to try the mower in a few more weeks, once the grass (and weeds) start growing. Now that I've spent all my money, I'll have to start using my new toys! The HST is fantastic... I looked real hard at a lot of other tractors (new & used) before I stumbled onto this deal, and I'm glad I didn't rush into anything. I initially wanted to buy an older (and cheaper) tractor, and spent several weeks searching numerous want ads, etc., then I found two almost new tractors at a local dealer (B7500 GT and B2400 HSD). I tried out the B7500 w/ Gear Transmission (at a much better price), but am really glad I went with the larger B2400 and especially the HST. It's so easy to move around while operating the loader. I also like the live continuous PTO, which allows the mower to keep moving while changing speed or direction. After a few minutes on the B7500 GT, I didn't like the mower stopping everytime I engaged the clutch, so I highly recommend going hydrostatic. - JACK p.s. This is a GREAT website !!! It really helped me through several agonizing weeks while I went through my bout with "New Tractor Fever." Thanks for all you folks out there... your advice is invaluable.
