For some time I run my B2400 for more than 10-15 minutes and I lose hydraulic pressure, the 3ph will not lift the 600lb rock box and the loader will not lift the front tires off the ground. If I let the tractor sit for a few hours , the hydraulics return to normal. I assumed the problem was aeration of the hydraulic fluid due to a leak in a sump line. Well, I have fixed the leak and thought all was well till I mowed for 45 minutes today and the hydraulic power loss returned as usual. This time after some investigation I discovered the hydro is very warm, hurts to the touch after 4 seconds, and the mid pto is also very warm. The hydro filter is cool as are the hydraulic lines to the cooler. The loader inputs lines are warm to the touch. I know from experience that the filter and lines should all be warm. Could there be blockage somewhere? With the leak repair I did clean the sump screen and changed the filter.
I might add that I do lock the 3ph up when running the tractor I wouldnt think this would be the cause, the owners manual says nothing about running the tractor in locked position. Anyone have any experience with a problem like this?
