BP Fick I read your compare contrast this weekend... great job... I will continue to investigate the diffrences in features on these two models. Can you elaberate on why you would go with the the 2620? other than the loader size and cap.? From what I read in your review you were impressed with the power to weight ratio. I have read the tractor was rather light?

They also won't tell you that the quick attach and pallet forks from a 3200 will fit the LA364, but they'll sell it to you when you ask

I suppose my next question is there a difference in hydro pumps between the 2320 and the 2620? if there is a beefier loader fitted to the 2320 with a smaller pump it will not be that much advantage? Im trying and research this now? unless someone knows off the top of their head?
Just my opinion here but I would go with at least the 2620.
The extra hp will always be welcomed, the heavier lifting loader is a big plus.
The 2620 I had I just loved because it seemed to have the perfect fit between size, loader and maneuverability. It just seemed to have the ability to do what ever was asked of it.
If you are open to a slightly larger tractor then look at the 26/3030 or 3200.

Part of the price difference probably has to do with the loader difference. Putting the bigger loader on the 2320 may not save you what you think it might...

The hydro pumps are the same on all the 20 series Bs.
Kubota makes incremental, fractional, minutia differentiating steps in its 80 models of tractors. It blows your mind that they need 80 models!!!
If you need a heavier tractor, better 3 pt with depth control, larger frame and other deluxe features, then quickly move up to the 30 series Bs. They are sweet, but the prices go up quickly commensurate with those deluxe features.
The real difference in the various 20 series, beside the loader, is hp. That only really comes into play if you run a chipper, but most importantly.... a SNOW BLOWER. If you blow snow, you absolutely, positively need the increased hp.
Otherwise, the B2320/2620 are great little, albeit, "standard" tractors.
Mine fits my needs like a glove. Just gotta add more weight, which is easier to do than trying to deduct weight.

BP Fick Thanks, I think your reasoning is right on. I may have the need for the snow blower if I move back to PA but at the present I live in NC. Im still leaning towards the B2320. Perhaps I take a ride to the dealer this weekend and do a side by side comparison on the 23 and the 26 B's My final thought for today is that if its only a little more for the 26 I will go with it...

When BP Flick bought his B2320, he had the advantage of significant experience with his BX and an understanding of what he wanted to achieve with the new tractor. We had neither when we bought and went through a similar process to you. Ended up with the B2920 feeling that not knowing the capabilities very well, it was better to go a little bigger.
If you don't want to spend the extra money or want to use it for implements, hard to argue with that logic. I think the extra HP is always good to have for PTO implements. But also good with ground engagement tasks. Everyone will say you will run out of traction before HP when doing gound engagement work and that is true. But the extra HP allows you to do the same work at a lower RPM. If you need 23 HP to pull a box blade with a certain load on a certain grade, the 2320 would have to be at or near 2800RPM. The 2620 would achieve the 23HP at some RPM less. It is always more peaceful to operate the tractor at the lower RPM and easier on the engine.
In the end, either will serve you well. Once you get the bigger engine, you will never look back and say you wish you had smaller, but you may say the smaller would have been enough to do what you needed to do.

We know our tractors because of this site....It's been a tremendous help to me and whenever asked about purchasing a new tractor I go out of my way to jot down the website info on paper and pass it on......
