B2150 Seat Replacement

Hi all.

I have a B2150 and it has a crack in the seat.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a replacement seat?

Should I go OEM or an aftermarket seat?

I have a BX2660 that I replaced the seat because with the FEL I had loaded tires and the ride was bone jarring. For about $90 on ebay, I bought a suspension seat that was not only as comfortable as the kubota OEM but also floated up and down when I hit a hole or bump. One of these came standard on my cheap Chinese tractor and for what the Kubota costs you would think that it would also come with it.

I do see them priced around $120 on ebat. They are aftermarket seats.

I did get another quote from a different dealer for an oem seat for $154.00 plus shipping.

I wonder why one dealer wants over $800 and another sells it for $154?

Makes me think the first dealer looked up the wrong part number or something.

I don't know if I should go oem or aftermarket?

Where in the world did you get that price? I just looked the seat part number up on Kubota.com and checked the price on Messicks.com and they list it for $153.60

The first price as from Hickory International in Maryland. The parts guy quoted that price. He said since it was so high he was going to "look into" aftermarket seats for me. (Hickory does all my tractor work.)

I never heard back from him.

The second price of $154 was from Messick's. That's who I will ordering it from.

The manufacturer of my suspension seat was Expert Agritrac, from Turkey.
