B21 transmission problem

...I'll have to be careful shifting my B21, it can sometimes be finicky about
going into gear.

If you force the shifters, you may eventually break the aluminum forks. Common on the b21s.

There's always a sweet spot for shifting, it takes a few hours of driving to feel it out. A combination of rolling, maneuvering the lever, letting the clutch out in neutral momentarily, engaging the drive pedal briefly, any one or all of these until the lever shifts without forcing it.

Yeah, well-put, Dennis. ALL hydro tractors I have owned or driven have no synchros in the range shift box, so
shifting is never very easy. Some have stronger components than others, but none of them should be
forced.
