It looks like I have a BH hose that is misrouted. My guess is that the PO used a too-short hose. The hose should go through the arm and exit midway before coming down to the ram. First 2 pics are my tractor. The third is a pic I borrowed from TBN showing what is should look like. The fourth is from the parts diagram showing how my hose is routed.

This is my first tractor :) and not sure what I am getting into if I put a longer hose on. I can measure from fitting to fitting following the routing path from the parts manual but is there an easier way to determine what hose length to order? Maybe from the part #? Is it as easy as- unscrew the old hose and screw on the new? Does the hydraulic line need to be bled afterward? I was planning on a hydraulic fluid and filter replacement soon since the PO had no maintenance records. Should I do this all at the same time or is that asking for trouble? Any other advice or tips is appreciated.
