I've been reading that the B series seems to commonly have an issue with the temperature gauge not registering accurately and that one of the fixes is to tighten the wire connection to the motor. I believe I have this issue on my B2920, which doesn't seem to move much past the C on the gauge even after use for a couple of hours of constant running. Its still under warranty with only 70 hours on it, so I want to try and fix the problem now so that I can get a new gauge via warranty if needed. That brings me to my question - Can anyone point me to the location of the wire that connects the gauge to the engine so I can tighten it? Am I right in thinking that the gauge is not registering correctly?
I'm assuming that this might also be covered in a repair manual, so any pointers to a quality one of those would be good as well (I need to get one sooner or later). Thanks!
