I have a B8200 HSD AWD with Kubota loader and Kingcutter 66" boxblade, 1500 hours, in what I think is good condition.
MY QUESTION: Should my B 8200 have enough power to drive around in high gear without running out of power?
I drove it off the property to a friend's house, about one mile away, on county roads. Some of the roads were fairly steep. I started running out of power and almost stalled, had to stop and change from 3rd speed to 2nd and then crawled up the road. (100 feet above sea level)

If this is normal then I can live with it. if not I am open to suggestions.

Thanks for any advice

Bruce

That seems normal to me. Just like a car, sometimes if the road gets a little steep you have to down shift. Remember it only has around 20+ H.P. It's Great little tractor and I love mine.

I had a gear drive B8200 for 12-13 years, and found I couldn't climb steepish hills in high gear... middle range was fine. Considering you are moving maybe 2000-2500+ lbs of equipment with 19 hp, whatdaya want? (I am presuming you have a loader and some other gear attached)
