I plan to do my 50 hour (way past due) service tomorrow. I have the filters, super udt, etc. Any tips from 3030 owners, do i have to pull a rear wheel or anything out of the ordinary? Im aware of the very slow process of replacing the front axle oil. Thankx, Lawn King.

I just did the 50 hour service on my B3030 last Sunday. Nothing to it but time. I had no problem refilling the front axle. It took the 5 quarts of 80/90 weight gear oil as fast as I could squeeze it out of the plastic quart cans. I jacked up the front end and removed the front wheels so the oil in the axles would run into the drain pan without getting all over the wheels. No need to remove a rear wheel. The drain plugs and filters are all easy to get to from underneath. I used a peice of cardboard to direct the engine oil away from the loader cross member so it would not splash all over the place when the two drain plugs were removed. You will have to remove the left side engine cover to get to the engine oil fliter. You will need a funnel with a hose to get the SUDT back in the transmission. The fill hole is pretty close to the bottom of the operator station. That's about all the tricks there are to it. Good luck.

Thankx toolguy, i did my first oil change, all i have to do today is the hydraulic oil & front axle. You cant get a hydro filter on a b7500 without removing the rear wheel, thats why i placed this thread. Thankx again.

The service is simple, pulling the front wheels to service the axle is the way to go. Drain the bottom hydro plug first, i pulled the side plug & old faithful was a gushing udt big time!
