the best one on ax men was when rygaards old man was just standing there waiting for the excavator to swing around and knock him down....gotta love them REALITY SHOWS cause captain kangaroo is not on anymore

All I know is if I was to have a trip down Shelby's way I would pay him is going rate to take me out in the swamp for a few hours. It would be a once in a life time ride, that is for sure.:thumbsup:

I made it about 1 episode of Ax Men this year, fast forwarded about 1/2 the first one and then 1/2 thr second one. Took it off my DVR recording list. The tree falling on the car was totally fake, you can see it didn't hardly roll at all of the stump, it when right where they put it.
Rock Stars has been interesting so far. Shipping Wars I might keep watching, will have to watch a few more episodes. Swamp Loggers I still watch.
I still watch Gold Rush, mainly to see if they actually find any gold. I am pretty confused with their time line though. They tried to run 24 hours straight but had problems with dirty water plugging the riffles. Really needed a clean out after about 6 hours. Then this last show they said they had been running 6 days straight... what like 1 hour a day or something? Is miners moss so expensive you can't just change it out after 6 hours and keep running? Now they are out of pay dirt? Didn't they pay attention when they hit bedrock with the test holes they drilled so they would know how deep they were going to get?

Since giving up satellite that show was the only one that I missed even a little bit. And John Ratzenberger always got a freebie at the end. LoL
Man you have got guts haha! I think he is a crazy guy and probably a hoot to be around but... Did you see how he bashed his new helper up crashing that new jet boat up in a tree? Geez he had big gash in his elbow something bad he was going to be sore for quite awhile.

Still miss junkyard wars, the bbc version was so much better then the usa version.

the bbc version scrap heap challange was great. They canceled it a few years ago after 10 seasons. I have every episode on dvd. It was a good show. I almost cried when they said it was over.

Poor Shelby, if he had a fast Airboat, it would probably kill him..I guess he tore up the floating wheeled truck, all aluminum and stainless rig??It is fun to watch him and his antics..I bet the kid had to have several stiches from the windshield and tree collision?.

Saw him use the 2 ton alum truck last sunday.Imagine the scrap value of it. He went jentle on it this week..

That swamp buggy is a pretty old one by the wheel design. I have a friend that has one similar to that one that he does core drilling with. One wheel was damaged in an accident and cost 9500 to replace.
