Posting because I see lots of Husqs on CL, but first time I have seen this model. And, the seller seems quite proud of it.

PS - does it irritate anyone other than me when "people" is used in this way? Pejorative?

I also have one exactly like the above unit with about the same number of hours. I paid $3300 for mine, and wouldn't sell it for $1500. After close inspection if it all seems to be correct, I'd say it's a bargain. Of course, the CL warning applies...

I suspect that's the same guy with the almost brand new Kubota L4400 HST tractor for $2500. His poor son-in-law, being distressed in Iraq and all... having to get his FIL to sell it quick, i.e. via Western Union. Now, IF that tractor only had a box blade instead of a back hoe on it, I'd probably jump on that deal. (NOT)

He's been posting it on the local Facebook yard sale sites, too. It first appeared about a week ago.

I think it's legit, but like others have said, the owner may be difficult to deal with. Ha.

Oh, it's not his (or her) grammar or lack of punctuation awareness that makes me think he is a card.
It is his (or her) approach to sales -
"this is heavy duty mower people not Lowe's or Home Depot Mower call dealer or do your reasearch before contacting me please be serious buyer no tire kickers ."

Right from the get-go, he is antagonistic. Course, it is Craigslist - selling on Craigslist is enough to frustrate anyone.

Yeah, on CL you find stuff for sale in the "Free" section, and lots of bottom feeders, and some true idiots. It's as bad as a candidate's debate. I had a 30 year old Mitsubishi tractor for sale, and a guy offered me $500 over my asking price to deliver it to him - 130 miles away. He refused to come see it first. No deposit, nothing. I told him "No." Then he came unglued when I sold it to a local cash buyer who came to see it, knew what he was looking at, and paid cash before I loaded it up.

I swear, if I put $1000 worth of tools on there for a dollar, I'd have three offers under 50 cents.
