Neil, are there building set back requirements, e.g., 20 feet from the property line, in Oz?

Yes the minimum boundary clearance is 1.5m - Say 5 feet. This applied if you have 1/4 acre or 100 acres.

Stupid hey? - There should be a multiplier stating that for every extra acre you must move out 3 feet or so.

I am not amused but there is nothing I can do except plant more trees to hide it. Except it will be hard to hide the broadside of something like that.
