Lookin good Derek!!!! I wish the bed was just a bit farther forward. When loading on the tailgate the front end gets a bit light if going up a steep incline!!!! I've backed up several with large loads of wood on. :)

I'm right there with ya on that. They are real hard to tip backwards though.

Here is my usual winter load. If it would flip easily this would do it.

1,300 hours with no real need to be replaced, but I've surely got an itch. Still haven't found anything I like as well / better, including the new ones.

That's so cool. I had saw a picture somewhere on here of you hauling a bale. Was telling my neighbor about it and he thought I was stretching it a little. I'll show him this pic. :D

I fell into mine. Bought it with 186 hrs on it for $5500. I'll never wear it out.

That's a great deal to fall in to! I dragged my feet and missed a good deal on (another) one myself.

Here is another pic you can show him. As always, 4x5 New Holland bales rolled tight.

Funny story. RTV bed is hydraulic dump. I dumped a load at the pile on day and when I lowered the bed I clicked it into "float" so it would go down faster. Stacked another load and started climbing a steep incline out of the timber. Felt the RTV lurch forward. Looked over my shoulder and saw it dump the entire load. Had left the lever in float so there was nothing holding the bed from dumping. Only made that mistake once. :)

Yea, that is funny story, probably wasn't at the time, sounds like something I'd do if the Rhino had a float mode, so you saying that on the RTV you push a lever and the bed goes up by it self?

I use to throw hey bales 30 years ago, 50lbs. +or-, how much these round ones weigh?, if I was to guess to win a million$$, I'd say 300lbs. did I win, am I close.

I am geussing the round bale weighs about 700-900 pounds depending on moisture.

The lift control has to be held to pick the bed up same with bringing it down, unless you float it down.

I never had that happen. Probably due to dumb luck on my part. Note to self.

Yeah, it's a hydraulic dump system. Hydraulic cylinder raises/lowers bed utilizing a lever to the left side of the driver. Lever functions just like a rear remote lever on a tractor with up/down/float positions. If you lower the bed and place the lever back into it's neutral position the cylinder will hang onto the bed and not allow it to tip. If left in float position the cylinder is free to extend which allows the bed to tip if loaded too far rearward.

A short video getting one more load of firewood in before the blizzard starts, wanted my younger son (formerly known as Get Wood) to stop filming when I backed up to the cellar door, hard to get good free help. I estimate my Rhino pulling a load of firewood weighing upwards of 15000lbs up hill in both defections, and I was pulling a 200ft log at the same time for 20mi. until the chain broke.
