ATV Log Arch

Anyone use a ATV log arch? Where is a good place and brand to get one? We did a small logging job last year with a Kawasaki 650 4X4, Polaris Explorer 4X4 and Sporstman 4X4. They all worked well, but we need to get the front of the logs off the ground so they don't catch, looks a log arch would would be the ticket. Thanks,

I went to a forestry forum in Auburn Wa in which Future forestry products log arches were demonstrated. In real woods conditions the owner of the company was able to extract logs that I thought would be pretty difficult to get out. He had a Honda 300 4x4 to pull the arch with and it worked surprisingly well. He also used a small hand model arch to work the log around which would probably be very nice to have but not absoultly needed, depending on your ground, the underbrush, and your age and strength. The smaller honda was nice since it is easier to horse around than a bigger one which he did do some of the get the log out. I was thinking that I needed to get a larger atv than my 450 foreman but after watching him I think the 300 honda i have already would be better. The limitation of the size for an atv is 16 to 24 foot logs I think less thah 24" in dia. So if you are logging to a landing for 32' log lengths the atv size would not be the best. For short logs it would be ok just not to fast as the logs need to be limbed up in the woods so you can drag them.
