Attack of The Coyote

Pack of coyotes live in a large woods nearby. I have seen 4 of them. I walk my 2 Pugs by there everyday. There have been cases around here of coyotes attacking dogs while being walked so I pack a .22 pistol just in case. Also good for keeping the local, 2-legged "coyote" druggies at bay.

Yes, those two legged wolves are the most dangerous !

Wow this is terrible. I mean I see them allot. When I get firewood in my neighbors yard, he has 15 acres and I go way back in it and they will be there. I just load up my tractor with firewood and go. they get close but havent attacked me. they just look, hehe.

Please be careful as the tactic coyotes often use is to get familiar with the prey so the prey does not see them as a threat and lets them get closer & closer until they get put into the coyotes belly if that is close enough for ya! It is a tactic used on pets, dogs mainly but they will use it on any critter that does not spook when they start getting closer.

Hate to see some Ohio headlines saying you were hurt! Dont necessarily run from them but make sure to keep some sort of weapon handy when you go back in the area they are in. Keep your eyes on them as well when they are in the area of you or your pets, even go as far as to make sure to threaten them some to let them know you are not PREY. Normally they know PEOPLE are something to stay away from but sounds like the ones in your area may not have the natural fear to keep both you and them safe.

Thanks SPIKER thats good Info. I guess I do need to be careful. I will take a 12 G shotgun from now on. I will fire it once so I re establish a boundary. hehe, my god I have been going back there with just a Bikini on, because thats work throwing them logs in cart. hehe if anything would have happened I would have been an easy meal. No jeans to bite through. hehe.
