I think Power Trac can supply you with the weights if you are trying to figure shipping costs. Don't forget the weight of the skids. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Thanks, David. I'm looking at used, and trying to figure what capacity trailer and truck I need to haul it home across a couple of states. Truck is an S10 2WD extended cab, which may or may not be up to the job, along with a tandem axle trailer. I already have the weight of the Power Trac Tractor.

As suggested, Taswell can give you the weights over the phone. That said, I don't think you'd be too far off to assume an average of about 250lbs per implement. Some heavier some lighter. In general, the PT implements are not as heavy as the 3PT implements.

OK, You got me! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I see you are paying close attention! I am interested, However I haven't made a decision yet--I need to be sure I can get the machine and equipment home. I remember you had an epic journey when you bought your machine. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif An S10 was involved there as well was it not? Any info on weights? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

That is true. I went to Tampa Florida form east TN to get mine. I picked up about the same amount of equipment as your are getting. But I didn't use the S10. We took a ¾ ton pickup and a duel axle ball and hitch trailer (not a goose neck). It handled it very well. At one time we made a very quick lane change to avoid a tire in the road and came through well. Just had to stop and clean ourselves up. LOL. Be sure to strap everthing down well. How far would you have to travel?

We had our new one shipped to South Bend, IN from the factory in 2001. It was about $550 back then. It would have cost us more in gas, food, lodging and wear and tear on a truck than it did to have it shipped to the midwest. Just a thought. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
