Does anyone have any experience with ATI's grapple attachment? Info on this thing is at http://www.pfvirtualfarmshow.com/new_products/1101a.asp

I looked into one for my 2910. Decided to make my own.
Carver Equipment carries the ATI grapple. The main concern for smaller compact tractors is the weight of the grapple may limit the amount that can be lifted with your FEL.

I'm using a Lion 2" bore X 8" stoke cylinder. Pin center length is 18 1/4". I have a separate valve mounted under my loader valve. I have a set of hydraulic hoses that go to the front of Loader frame. There are a set of quick disconnects at this point. It allows me to remove Grapple by pulling 2 pins for cylinder, 2 pins for grapple arms and the quick disconnects. Frame stays on Loader bucket. The whole assembly weighs 170 lbs.
great I appreciate it, was thinking of building one for the kubota for capturing sewer and water pipes( those 20' lengths of 6" schedule 80 waterpipe are heavy).

Something similar to what I made should work great. I have a 30' Telephone Pole that I used to try mine out with. Ounce I learned the technique needed to pickup a 12" diameter pole. It sure beat using chains.
Did you buy it direct or through a dealer? How expensive are they? How good are the instructions? Pictures???? We love pictures... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
