Assembled in China?

We are looking at a couple years old TYM 273. I have read that some of them were assembled in China. I am iffy when it comes to Chinese quality.
Is this a concern?
Are they non-Chinese parts?

If memory serves me, you can tell if is was assembled in China by looking at the mfg plate near the front left tire. This is the plate that shows the model and serial #. It would say Assembled in China. If it is only a couple years old then is probably was not.

Search a couple threads here and see if any of the changes such as new muffler design have been done to the tractor. That should tell you a few things. As far as parts, they are likely So. Korean and not Chinese. Well other than electronics, I guess. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

From what I have herd in the past they sent some of the 200 series components to a assembly plant in China. They assembled the componets together like hooking the engine to the rear end assembly. The components were already made in South Korea and the engine in Japan. This was because they were running out of room at times in their old factory. Last fall they opened their new factory which is much larger and from what I was told everything is being made in South Korea now. I hear they have even have room to expand in the future at the new location. Who knows what new items they will have added 5 years from now.
