Nope, I've tried various browsers and NONE are better for security than IE-11. Proven fact! That's why everyone wants IE-11 out of the picture--Even MS. It's packed with security features that don't require add-ons.

I caught MS trying to patch it to ignore the Hosts file.

And if you don't know what the Hosts file is, you've lost the fight already.

Go to settings of what ever browser you are using, turn off all extensions.

Try a different browser. If the problem goes away, the problem is in the browser. That can help you narrow it down. You don't have to continue to use the different browser, just try it to isolate the problem.

That's like saying park your car downtown and leave all the doors and windows open.

I just asked if anyone else has seen it. I also asked if anyone else is using IE-11.

It's obvious your browser is hiding things from you.

IE-11 is being replaced by Edge which has been getting good reviews. Give Edge a try to see if problem persists.

If you seriously think that any product distributed by M$FT more secure than anything else you are extremely mistaken, as well as gullible and naive...

FYI Nobody and I mean NOBODY that knows what they're doing when it comes to anonymity on the internet would have any version of IE on any system what so ever...geeze...!

It reminds me of a joke I played on a coworker years ago. I installed a program on his computer that changed his curser from the standard one to a small hand exhibiting the middle finger every time he moved the cursor. It was fun for a day or 2.:D:D:D
