With the few scrapes amd scratches I have on my CT235, I can't see any primer under the paint. A recent battery acid spill also removed the paint from the front lower grill whcih peeled away... also with no sign of any primer.

The primer is obvious on my Kubota. Does anyone know about the Bobcats?

It appears to be paint to me, if it was powder coated I think the coating would be a little thicker and tougher

Might be primer-less paint.

One way to tell if they should have primed it first is to see if the paint peels off in sheets. If it does, they screwed up. If it sticks to the metal and you can only pick bits and pieces off at a time, it's primerless.
