April Snowstorm

Started snowing yesterday afternoon and we ended up with about 10" of heavy wet snow! I took the snow blower off the other day so I used the FEL to move some of it around.

One nice thing is everything looks really clean now and this will add to the length of the mud season!

Looks beautiful, but it wont last long ! As you say, that should help prolong mud season !

Well it's all my fault. I swapped the snow tires for the summer tires & put my snowblower in the shed last weekend. This is the thanks I get. 3" at my house in Mass - lots of rain.

Bummer is I can't motivate the wife to go skiing this weekend - something about a religious holiday and upcoming reportcards (she's a teacher).

Well the weatherman nail this storm on the head...11" as of now w/sleet bouncing of the windows.

Hard to believe couple days ago the rake was humming its song as the robins were bouncing on the lawn,unhook the plow but no gonner put it away again just yet.....guess that little fur ball Phil was right also.

We've been without power since since sometime before 4:00 this morning.
Awful glad to have a generator.

Oh man!...that is just illegal. We are supposed to get just the edge of the storm and one night of freezing temperatures. It's not a great time to be one of my tomato plants.

Well, 8:00 AM and still no power.
Like others, I had taken the snowblower off and set it aside. Yesterday morning I discovered I had parked it in what became 6" of standing water and under trees bent over laden with heavy wet snow.
This morning I am even more thankful for the generator.

Of course, the snowblower was removed last Sunday just before taking my motorcycle out for the first ride of the season. Gotta love New England!

Yep, same here in northern Michigan. Ten to twelve inches around me, it's snowing lightly all day today, and a bunch more is supposed to be on the way tonight. Weather forecast shows chance of snow showers through Tuesday, maybe even Thursday. It's not warm wet snow either. We had 18 degrees last night and the night before, with twenties today. Weather records are being broken here left and right.
