Anyone running a Lamtrac 6125

I'm interested in buying a 6125, anyone have any feedback?

I used to have a friend that ran one. Seemed like a very solid machine, I ran it for a total of 10 hours and that was in 2010, so I'm no authority on them. But it sure seemed nice compared to the 4810 I was running at the time.

They sure look nice. That one in TX is 159k which seems a little high for a 3 year old machine that's been sitting on the lot for several years. I thought they would lower the price by now.

They sold it, and haven't updated the ad they have a 14 for the same price tho

If you have plenty of work lined up and local dealer support I think it would be an excellent machine to own. In this biz I would hate to see anyone be a ginny pig at any cost. They look like they are built really heavy duty.

I just added a CMI 175. It's really well build and well thought out. Great power too. I heard Lantrac as a company may not be doing too well.

Yeah, I've checked into the 175 but there extremely proud of it $$$$$$$$$$$

Yes but a Lamtrac for 159k, I bet the CMI does at least 1.5 times the work. I can't say enough good about this thing. I had a Supertrak 140 and there is no comparison.

I know a guy around the Atlanta area tht bought one and is buying another one, he can't stop raving over it. He claims, no comparison between the 175 and his Rayco c130. The "hydraulic power is unreal" "hard to stall the rotor even when I try to" his exact words! I would love to buy one but the note on the 175 scares the s### out of me!

That C175 looks like a sweet machine. I hope it makes you a lot of money Ted. Are there any dealers near you? I don't think they have much of a dealer network in US yet, buy that may be changing.
The c175 is close to the size of the FtX140 and they both use a John Deere 4.5 engine. With a tuner to up the HP a little and some 2 speed hydraulic motors for the head you could have a poor mans version of the 175 without the payment.

A great machine. Lamtrac is one of my best buy. Not cheap, but very reliable, and I had great results. ;-)

I like that they have the option get the high lift arms on the 6125 and the Cummins engine is great too.

Thanks Jimmy. No dealers close. I bought straight from the factory. It's a really nice addition and complements the Tigercat. Excellent on steep and floats really good. It doesn't quite keep up with the TC.
It came with the new style FAE rotor and with the cutting teeth it does a crazy good job even on a straight forward mow with no reverse processing. I still have a skid steer but I don't think I'll ever get back in it to mow.
