I have 10 30' tall Leland Cypress trees to cut and chip with my Woodland Mills WC68 chipper. I'm hesitant to do that due to the possiblity of constant clogging. Anyone have any experience with that problem? Or is my concern for naught...

Had several down in a storm about the same size. They chipped up fine.

I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem. The nice thing about your chipper is that the clamshell design makes it easy to clear if it ever does clog.

The worst problem I've ever had is crooked oak branches jamming in the feeder. Those can be a bear to get out.

I don't have your brand of chipper, but I do chip a lot. Some suggestions:

First, if you have problems clogging because of green foliage, you might try letting the branches dry out for awhile so the foliage either falls off or gets "crunchy".

Second, if you have a lot of green foliage to chip, sometimes feeding a branch without foliage, along with the green stuff (at the same time) will mix enough wood chips with the foliage to help keep it moving through the chute.

Third, slowing down and feeding one branch at a time will sometimes work better than trying to run several at once. I keep a pair of lopping shears handy to "prune" down larger branches into smaller pieces to feed in this manner.

Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Wishing you best of luck with the project.
