Sometimes it's easier to place a "want to buy" ad, found on the main page at tractorhouse. It saves you time, not having to call what salvage yards look to have the part you're looking for. All of the search's I've posted there, were responded to anywhere from 4, to 36 hours max. I also found, it's worth waiting the 36 hrs., as prices have varied greatly. On larger items, shipping can factor in also.
There may be times you only get one call, like I did for an assist lift spring for my old IH 990 MoCo. But, it was very reasonable, and is in very good condition. Plus, it was located within 120 miles, so shipping wasn't that bad. And, was here in 2 days.
