You can check out the kubota UTVs at www.tractorsmart.com.
Just click on the Kubota tractor. They have several pictures and other useful info.

They look like a nice machine.

Ok after two hours of fiddelin I got the photos loaded. Theese carts are '98 EZGO's that have a Factory lift kit, which is basicly a entirely new suspension, Tie Rods, shocks, rear springs etc. Also New over size ATV tires, wheels, tune up, new filters, plugs oil change, PU bed, 90 day warranty and tax for $3400. Thats about 2k less than a 550 mule with the same engine. It really goes through the woods great and I am very pleased with it especially for the $$$$. Dave

Docknotinn, the Mule 550 has the same Kawasaki industrial engine that is in the similar gator. The reason we got the Mule over the gator was the suspension. I don't know what kind of conversion kit you could make to a golf cart that could come close to this rugged mudder. Not being familiar with what your talking about, I can't say it wouldn't be comparable, just don't know.

Doc those are 5-year old carts, its sounds like a good enough deal but I saw some 5-year old Mules for in the $3K range.

The best mule prices I saw in my area were over 5k. Theese carts are completely re conditioned so the entire suspension is lifted 8" and with shocks etc. That "kawasaki" motor is a 286 cc Roberts engine. Carts get a little twisted on name labels, some yamaha carts have kawasaki engines ( name plate) that are made by Roberts /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Same engine. Id like to give em a go side by side just fer kicks if we were closer. One great thing about leaving a golf cart at deer camp....No one is going to steal it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Dave

I agree with you Alan. The older 2wd mules are pretty available for $3k and under. I even see some 4wd units in the $3k range.
