This whole thread is a bunch of nonsense...........
I think everyone is well aware of the truth.....
so you can stop trying to pull everyone's leg......
Naugas cannot be domesticated, they have a horrible demeanor, quite naughty indeed, which by the way, is how they got their name. It (the name) was derived from the ancient Greek word "Naugalipticus", which translated, means "Naughty lips" or "bites a lot".
Because of their enormous lateral incisors they must be muzzled after capture. As if this not an adequate defense mechanism, few people know that they have a barbed tail that can be dislodged and launched like a spear. This spear is covered by a foul smelling liquid known as "Naughty juice". This venom causes nausea, vomiting, and hallucinations, should it contact the mucus membranes.
Which brings me to my next fascinating fact......: Naugas were banned from the US in the early 80's as they were found to habit forming.
And that my friends, is why you don't find Naugahide around anymore.
They (Naugas) can only be found on the Mediterranean island of Naugasdosciuos, where the population is dwindling.
It seems the indigenous peoples have over-harvested the population. The Naugus are used in ancient religious rituals having to do with the rite of passage from boyhood to manhood. Most of these marsupials have been captured, feeze dried, and sent to some town in east Texas where there is a small population of Naugadelphians clinging to the "old culture".
