Eddie, I suspect you put heart and soul into that relationship and it going to take some effort to turn it around. I am glad to see that the update sounds all good at this point :thumbsup:

Eddie, that this has worked out for you and you are doing fine doesn't surprise me in the least. We all hated it when you were hurt so badly, but not one of us doubted but what you'd come back at full or better strength. You're a survivor and darn good at it to boot. Eddie, I am so glad to hear that you're doing well, and most impressed that you have a lady in your life!
It's good your folks have been around. And I sure know what you mean by having to deal with mud, we've had some good downpours here, including for 2-3 weeks right after I initially planted my garden, so my "crop", such as it is, is 2-3 weeks behind my neighbours who have well-drained areas for theirs.
Anyway, I've wondered a few times lately how you were doing, and was planning on dredging up this old thread, or starting a new one, to see where and how you're doing. Good on you, and continued success.

Eddie, we have cut you some slack for a few months, but now it's time for you to start one of your over the top projects and report back to us! We want to see some dirt moved. Can this new lady drive a tractor??

Thank you everyone for your support and kind comments. Laurie tells me that she has "mad skills" but I'm not sure if that includes operating tractors. Her parents owned ranches in the area and have both tractors and dozers, but she's only told me about her kids operating them and some of what her dad did. Her dad also played pro football for the Chicago Cardnals for a few years back in the late 50's. She's impressive and her family is impressive. She's the type of girl who will make you a better person. Life really has turned lemons into lemon aid.
As far as sharing her with TBN, some of you already know her from Face Book. She never heard of TBN before we met, but now she wants me to write a book on Lake Marabou because I showed her the thread on building it. While I don't see that ever happening, she has one idea after another that have become a lot of fun to talk about.
