Anyone Have A Mile Marker Hydraulic Winch?

I believe you only need to use a pressure regulator to control the max pressure and if you run the tractor at idle, you should be good to go.

Good points about running at idle. I may be seeing a problem that doesn't exist.

I am also planning to install a one way valve, just in case some idiot (such as myself

) operates the remote valve in the wrong direction by accident. Right now, I have no idea what would happen if that winch was back fed. Anyone know?

I'll get one if the winch doesn't already have one on it...anybody know if it does?

I think it would just run backwards. I think the only difference between 3RRL's and my own is the solenoid setup. Mine runs backwards to power out and I can't imagine they're using two different motors...

In my Parker Torqmotor catalog, the lowest pressure rating I see is 300 bars, or, 4350 p.s.i.

I have a mile marker 12,000lb winch I bought last yr to run on my Deere5400. Tractor pressure is 2950psi. I simply went to Surplus Center and bought a 2 way pressure reducer adjustable. haven't used it yet. I called MM and they said absolutely no more than the 1500psi. The valve was cheap. I'm planning on plumbing it to run off the joystick.
