I'm referring to Spider Solitaire. The stupid game is addicting. When I first started, I saw no way you could ever win the 'four suit' option, but now that's what I play, and, almost never win. But like I said, it's addicting!

No...but I did meet a competitor...

Not really addicted, although my win/loss record is at 541/1282 for 29% at the 2-suit level. The 1-suit level is too easy and the 4-suit is too hard for me.

Nope not me. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
But had to buy a second computer so I could get on TBN in the evening when wife is playing. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I've played it, but never cared much for the Spider Solitaire. But Freecell and Hearts probably occupy a lot more of my time than they should. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yep, I've met it. I have yet to win at the four suit level - so at least your ahead of me. I think the best I've done has been 2 or 3 "suits". /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I remember going to a training class that had a games pack or something installed on Win98 or 2000 and I would play it during breaks, absolutely loved it. Couldn't find where they had gotten it from. Was so excited when I got ME and it was built-in. Glad they didn't lose it with XP.

That's what knocks a hole in my day.

I've never tried Spider Solitaire ... probably just as well. What with illness and all the rain, I'm far enough behind this year as it is.

DON'T READ ANY FARTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHEAT AT GETTING OUT OF A FREE CELL GAME YOU'RE ABOUT TO LOOSE.

OK, want to "adjust" your win-loss record in Free Cell?
If you're about to loose, hit CTRL+Shift+F10. An abort window will appear. It'll end that game and list it as a win.

I don't play it but the people in my office seem to be addicted to it during the lunch hour.

I don't play Spider too often, but my nightly games while I wait for TBN & other forums to load (dial-up) are Free Cell, La Belle Lucie, Montana, Aces, and Indian Patience. Unless you're a Solitaire freak, or own Solitaire Plus, you probably haven't heard of these games. Anyway Solitaire Plus let's you back-up or replay games, so my stats are ridiculous. I had a win streak of 1000 games of Free Cell with only taking advantage of the back-up function. No way I could have done it otherwise. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

For me, it's those darned puzzle games like Cubis Gold or Alchemy. My wife's hooked on 'em too, and she just bought 2 more called Drop and Penguin. I haven't started those yet. Hopefully I won't! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I hate to admit being addicted to spider. I play about an hour a day. Usually late at night to let the brain unwind. Nothing but four suit with an average success rate of 15%. These Michigan winters are killing me!!! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I wouldn't say I was addicted to freecell but I had a record of 169 straight wins back on my first computer Windows 3.1 and the game had no "undo" option. Still play it every day. Spider = too hard to suit me.
