Anyone built a front bush hog for their CUT?

/ Anyone built a front bush hog for their CUT? #11
I posted a similar thread a while back about mounting a finish mower on the front of a JD 2210. I have since bought a Toolcat and will be selling the 2210 so I will not be pursuing it.

Apparently JD offers a front hitch for mounting attachments JD Front Hitch. I can only find reference to it on the non-US sites though. If you could see one of these it may help you figure out how to rig something up for your Bota. This doesn't solve the PTO rpm issue.

As far as running a mower on the front ..... that is what the Toolcat and skid steers do. You do have to be aware of flying debris just as you do when you have them on the back.

Whoops, in addition to the Toolcat and skid steer the Power Tracs, Steiners, etc all use from attachments.

SnowRidge makes a good point about the radiator. If you do decide to brush hog out front, you'll need some kind of guard/screen to keep stuff out of there. Doesn't take much of a sharp stick or splinter to puncture a radiator and brush hogs throw lots of stuff very hard.

Thanks!

My BX radiator is under the steering wheel, so it's protected, but do appreciate the concern.
