Any pricing yet on the new E tractors?

With a statement like this: [The e25G delivers maximum torque at zero RPM, surpassing diesel tractors] You can say the same thing about a
riding lawnmower. Wonder what other BS they have to say about the
e25g??? I wouldn't waste a nickel on one of them. Our little diesel
tractor can run for 7 hours wide open using a rototiller wonder how
long the e25g would go before needing recharging and then how long
will it take to recharge when I can refuel in less than 10 minutes
Ferries ban electric tractors because of a fire hazard?? are they safe
to have around your house???

The New Holland website still does not have a price or available date listed. The electric model is not listed any longer on the products page but can accessed if searched by Google. Dealer says they have no information on it.

Maybe they are dead in the water already?? Probably looked at the dropping sales numbers and realized "we can't sell diesels at these current ridiculous prices, no way are we gunna be able to sell these things at even higher costs!!" LOL

Don't get me wrong, in a perfect world I did think that was a pretty cool tractor (both the red and blue ones) and it has some pretty cool features if they work.

And while I would never get rid of my gas and diesel tractors (because I'm a gear head and live for the sounds and smells of internal combustion), it would be cool to have one of these just to have a nice quiet tractor with no exhaust fumes for some applications, the truth is the technology is just not there yet.

It needs to be at a comparable cost to a diesel tractor, have reliable long life batteries and have no fear of burning my yard down.

I recently read an article and Ford is now saying they are going to scale back their electric vehicle production because they are not going to meet goals, and now go back to focusing on hybrids. Now that makes more sense!

Which makes me think, why don't these tractor manufacturers focus on that also. You know, make them like a mining haul truck....use a smaller diesel engine with electric drive motors to multiply your rim pull.
That way we can have a big tractor with a non DPF 26 horsepower motor that has to do nothing but turn a generator to power electric drive motors at each wheel.
If your diesel engine is the only source of energy ( no batteries for support) that drives a generator, let's say at 26 HP. You can only create the equivalent electric energy of 26 HP which is approximately 19KW.
You can't put more power to the wheels than the source of power creates.
With one caveat, the electric drive has next to no power loss compared to a mechanical transmission.

Just don't park it in your garage or enclosed barn as it may go up in flames anytime.

Here in Michigan at least, most insurers won't insure a dwelling that has an electric car parked in an attached garage as the risk of fire is too great. I would imagine that also applies to an electric tractor with L-Ion batteries. Not something I would ever be concerned with as the only L-Ion battery powered stuff I own are electric hand tools and my cell phone and I'm very cognizant about charging the batteries as well. So far no issues but I'm acutely aware there have been issues in the past.

That really sucks. Do people then build a separate structure to house the electric tractor in?

A lot of imagining going around without facts to back it up.

A few EVs have caught fire. Some had glaring design defects such as the Chevrolet Bolt. Other than that the data doesn't back the F.U.D.

More than a few ICE catch fire in garages.

My insurance has no concern about parking my EV inside.

A metal detached car port sounds like a safe storage alternative.
