Any pricing yet on the new E tractors?

I'm going to predict to you all what is going to happen as far as on-road vehicles. In their attempt to save the environment by banning the sale of internal combustion LIGHT DUTY VEHICLES, every soccer mom on the block is going to have a new Superduty (because no one wants an ev) and Ford is licking their lips because now they will be selling more $110,000 Superduties than they can produce. LOL

Let the future prove me wrong, LOL

Boy I sure called that one! Ford just announced the two factories in Ontario Canada that put significant upgrades into, to build electric vehicles....they have now scrapped the plan for electric and are going to produce Superduty trucks at Oakville because they can't keep up to the demand for them, and Windsor is going to produce the engines for them!

And a couple of the big ferry boats around here have recently banned all electric vehicles due to the fear of fires.

So as for the electric tractor....don't really think that is something I want sitting in my barn in the middle of a forest where I have basically very little fire protection.

Heck, the more I read, the more scared I'm getting of even having all these Dewalt tool batteries here.

My biggest gripe is just as with the emissions equipment on new diesel engines.....if the government is going to mandate and FORCE this stuff on us....if it helps the environment good.
BUT don't overcharge us for technology you RUSHED to market, untested and unreliable. Then leave us all stuck with giant bills to be your test pilots.

You wanna mandate something, then make damn sure that we have the technology to make it actually work!!!

Mines not DeWalt but I was just thinking the same thing. I have 6 batteries and they all work great, oldest being 6+ years, I usually throw them on the charger and take them off when I think about it, anywhere's from 1 to 7 days later since the charger does shut off when full...supposidly. I guess it does since my garage hasn't burnt down.

My wife's car costs seven times per mile what my Tesla costs for fuel. I've been casually shopping for a replacement for her, and base price of a Model Y is in the ballpark of what we would spend on a new ICE replacement. While 10 years ago the purchase price of an EV was significantly higher than ICE, in 2023 they reached parity.

The problem is, this is an artificially created situation caused by our government. This would not be the case if we had a free market.

Fuel and car prices are directly related to BS government regulations and policies.

The New Holland website still does not have a price or available date listed. The electric model is not listed any longer on the products page but can accessed if searched by Google. Dealer says they have no information on it.

They said last winter they would be taking orders in 2024... . Seems it was just for visibility and pandering.
