Any point in loading tires?

Do you guys think there is any benefit in loading the tires? My tractor tires are loaded and I see a lot of benefit to that. I'm just wondering if the benefits would be the same with our RTV's.

The only thing I'd load them up with is Slime.

As for your question, I'd say no. Loading tractor tires is to lower the center of gravity and to act as a counterweight when using implements.

The RTV has an incredibly low center of gravity.

They haven't come out with a loader for it (yet...).

I agree with you but would like to add, we're talking a RTV here. High speeds only occur on the RTV when they're on a flatbed. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So the top speed is about 25mph??, still seems fast enough.

What exactly is "slime" anyway? You have referred to this several times on various posts. Is this like a coating that can be applied to the inside of the tire to prevent air lost from punctures? I am curious to know what it is. Thanks.

Yes. I concur it may be an issue. I wonder what speed that would occur at? How much of a difference does tire size make?

Yes. Slime is a tire sealant. Check out info on it at www.slime.com It does a real good job. They're better stuff will instantly seal a hole up to 1/4".
