Gentlemen,
I've been noticing a small leak of antifreeze coming from a valve on the right side of my 2004 TC40A. I don't know what this valve does, what's it called or if this is normal...? I'll attach a couple of pictures for more details. Maybe someone can give me some advise or direction on how to fix this relatively small problem? It would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not familiar with this tractor but by picture looks like it maybe the engine block coolant drain valve.

According to the NH parts diagram it look to be a "DRAINCOCK/TAP SUPPLY Fitting"...

Hard to see, but it doesn't look like the tap is leaking from the drain, it looks more like it's leaking around the threads between it and the block. Drain the coolant, unscrew the tap, clean up the threads. If it looks ok, re-install with some thread tape or pipe joint compound. If it's too knarly looking, replace it.

Eastbx,

Did you end up fixing the leak? What did you end up doing? How well is it working now?
