I have seen too many claims for wonder products out there over the years and many after years of use do not perform as claimed.
Antifreeze is cheap. I change mine very 1.5-2 years. Takes around one gallon for my tractor-that $11-12 ever 2 years. Cheap insurance.
Everyone should be using distilled water also and not tap water.
That is what test kits are for. You know how much money Cat spends on R&D?? You also need to realize the 6,000 hours is 4 to 5 years for bigger operators.
They put a lot of money in to their R& D for a reason.
I will be testing what ever I choose to use. It will be pre mixed, as I am on well water.
It is only $14/4L jug, so not terribly expensive if I decide to just change it in two years.
6,000 hours is far from the end of a tractor.
