anti-scalping wheels adjustment

How far above the ground should anti-scalping wheels be? Do they have to be adjusted for each grass height?

I don't know your machine, but as a rule of thumb, anti-scalp wheels should be 1/4 to 1/2 inch off the ground when your deck is down at mowing height.

The wheels should be high enough so you can put your fingers under them. So 1/2 inch would be about right. Yes they should be readjusted when mowing height or tire pressure is changed.
