That looks like the slot where an optional mid PTO lever would go. Does your tractor have a mid PTO? If not, does it have the capability?

Looks like a hole........ I couldn’t help myself it was just too easy.

Actually this same pan is used for a lot of models. On some it is the PTO disconnect lever hole.

So far the "It's a hole" seems to win...
Looking through it didn't help - I couldn't see any value in it at all....

When I shift gear with the lever, the adjustment/lockup bolt is visible through it, so I suppose that is as good a use as any. Not that I have any reason to take the lever off - I think that the ability to put the tractor in gear and, - wait for it - CHANGE GEAR is quite useful.

I'll just leave it there, and should anyone ask what it is, I'll reply "It's just a hole".

I know you have already looked in with no consequence....... but watch out !! You never know what might be lurking in that hole !

Try putting four quarters in the slot,it should run about three minutes before shuting off. Check with your dealer, you may have the long play option on your tractor.

Tried it (OK, I had to use Yen, but that's what you gotta expect from an import). It moved backwards & forwards and the lights flashed. No music, though. Is it broken?

On the MF/Isekis, that slot is for the engagement lever for the mid-PTO.
