Hi folks when I shut down the engine there's coolant dripping onto the floor; its not from the thermostat housing nor the overflow pipe...seems to be lower down and doesn't do it whilst the engine is running....any ideas welcomed.... I know that it could be expensive LOL

You are going to need to find out where it is actually leaking from. It could be as simple as a loose hose clamp on a radiator hose.

Okay I've replaced the water pump gaskets and the 2 radiator hoses/clips so theres nothing leaking from those sources at all now but I notice the water level in the radiator needs topping up quite a lot especially if the weather is hot well hot for Aberdeenshire 19 degrees or so.....the radiator hisses when I switch the engine off and theres steam coming out of the radiator overflow pipe....is there another issue do you guys think?

I have been watching you tube channels like Vice Grip Garage or Morske repair. They start up cars that haven't been running for year. Vice Grip Garage has a few videos starting old tractors that haven't run for years, often with overheating problems.

I have had a dirty radiator cause heating on my TS-1610. Still running a little hot on my TS-1610 after running for a long time.

Could be anything from the radiator cap, loose belt to the fan, water pump with bad impeller, or rust/clogged water passages. Also good to know if your oil pressure is good.

Not sure if these have a thermostat. Sometimes they try putting in a thermostat if it is missing or removing the thermostat if it is there.

Some type of thermocouple or measurement gauge to know the actual temperature would be helpful if your tractor doesn't have a temperature gauge on the dash.

Thank You for your reply most of the manuals seem to show a thermostat but this had not got one so I'm confused...have replaced the water pump and main hoses and now no leaks but when I shut the engine down the radiator hisses and theres steam coming out of the overflow pipe...need a picture from someone with the same tractor I think

No thermostat on a TX1510. It is common for the used tractors from Japan to have cooling issues. They didn't have any excess cooling capacity so if it extra hot or the radiator flow is restricted it can overheat. Let it cool down before shutting the tractor off.
