When i bought my tractor i stored it in my garage/workshop.
The bad thing when i wanted to work on a car i had to move the tractor and all my attachments outside and then move them back when i was done. This got old real fast. So i desided to make me a barn/tractor shelter for my new toy.
This picture is of the slab right after i poured it.

Another shot of the slab, testing the weight limits of the slab. Ha Ha. If you look real close you can see where we had to much water on the mix and trying to float the concrete made it look worse than it really was.

I decided to build a carport garage because of the price, i know a wood structure would have insulated and stayed warmer, but i have a 25 x 40 garage for working on things. This was just going to be tractor and equipment storage.

Again another very nice job Mr. Hurt! I need to be as produtive as you. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif That is a perfect tractor home and like you said you already have a garage to work on things and we all know you won't need to work on your tractor so she is fine where you put her.

I like your storage building--garage for tractor.

I do have one question though.

I wonder about the drainage coming off the hillside and how it's directed around the building so that it doesn't have a tendancy to come inside.

I'm sure you've addressed this. Could you describe it for me?

ah yes a very good question, i looked at where the water wanted to go naturally and placed the building off to the side of that. the pictures are kind of decieving, but the left side of the building is much lower, so the water has a tendancy to go to that side. although future plans are for black dranage pipe to be installed around the barn just in case

Nice job!

What was the cost of the metal building kit minus the slab?
