Update
Just wanted to let y'all know my 2210 will be returned tomorrow morning. The information I received over the phone described a "bracket" under the seat pan, on top of the tranny, that had been over-torqued during assembly. When the tech was trouble-shooting, he didn't notice any play or problems, but when he went to re-assemble the "bracket" the female threads stripped (not the bolt). It took three business days to get the parts.
The service manager was unclear as to the function of the bracket and I will research a little further, perhaps post a picture if I can isolate and identify what he was describing. AT this point, this appears to be an assembly issue versus a design issue.
