This one has been stored in an old shed. Haven't been able to find a data-plate anywhere for SN.

Was talking with a neighbor yesterday, and this one was running when it went in the shed. Pulling a bush-hog and hit a stump, twisting out the PTO on the tractor, and carried it to the shed to work on it. Apparently found a "deal" on another tractor and this one just stayed where it was!

/forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif What you have there is a "Slant Dash" JD Model A. They were the electric start A's made before they had a box seat to store the batteries in. They were made ......(and this is just as far as I know)......as far back as 1943, and as late as 1947. That is one rough looking tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
